A family company with a history: Founded in 1898 as a workshop, Collini has developed into an innovative “surfaces company”.

Company founder Damian Collini (born in 1849 in Mortaso, Trentino) immigrated to Vorarlberg with his scissors grinding tools towards the end of the 19th century. He settled down in Hohenems and took on work as a scissors and knife sharpener. The opening of his grinding and sharpening shop laid the foundation for today’s success.
